Vice President, Director of Trading

Vice President Lee Smith has a number of key responsibilities, including serving as our Chief Compliance Officer and Director of Fixed Income Trading. He is also a mutual fund analyst and portfolio manager. As Chief Compliance Officer, Lee makes sure the firm’s activities are in accordance with all Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and FINRA regulations.

After attending the University of Illinois, Lee served in the United States Army and was awarded the Bronze Star in Vietnam. He was a small business owner prior to joining Cozad Asset Management in 1984. Lee is a certified financial planner, and holds a number of securities registrations and an insurance license.
