Building portfolios based on our clients’ needs is the heart of what we do at Cozad Asset Management. Clients come to us for many reasons. Some have acquired assets over time with little or no planning or direction. Others come into an inheritance, sell a business or piece of property or roll over a retirement plan distribution. All want to make the most of their finances and recognize that it’s time for professional asset management services.
With our clients’ individual needs our top priority, we develop custom-tailored portfolios. In building a portfolio, we often take the following approach:
- Focus on goals and objectives
- Review current holdings and performance
- Assess risk tolerance
- Develop a comprehensive plan
- Review asset allocation and plan on a regular basis
Our client-focused approach recognizes that every client is different so our approach and services vary to meet the specific needs of each individual.
In June 2014, Cozad Asset Management, Inc. was named to the inaugural 2014 Financial Times Top 300 Registered Investment Advisors (RIA) list and also earned the distinction in 2015 and 2016.
The 2016 Financial Times Top 300 Registered Investment Advisors is an independent listing produced by the Financial Times (June, 2016). The FT 300 is based on data gathered from RIA firms, regulatory disclosures, and the FT’s research. As identified by the FT, the listing reflected each practice’s performance in six primary areas, including assets under management, asset growth, compliance record, years in existence, credentials and accessibility. Neither the RIA firms nor their employees pay a fee to The Financial Times in exchange for inclusion in the FT 300.
